I created a morning routine that changed my life in 4 steps. Here’s how.
Mornings used to be my worst enemy. I’d snooze my alarm three times, drag myself out of bed, and shuffle into my day half-asleep. By the time I felt awake, it was already lunch. Sound familiar?
One day, I had enough. I was tired of feeling tired. I wanted to wake up and feel alive. Energized. Like I had control over my day. So, I tried something new — four small changes. Honestly, I didn’t think they’d work. But they did. Big time.
The first change was weirdly simple: I moved my alarm. Instead of having it next to me, I put it across the room. That tiny tweak? It forced me to get up. At first, it was so annoying. My half-asleep self hated walking across the room. But it worked. I couldn’t snooze anymore. After a week, I started waking up faster — like my body was ready.
The second change was about water. I realized I’d been starting my day dehydrated. So I began chugging a big glass of water as soon as I got up. Let me tell you — it felt amazing. That first cold sip was like a jolt to my brain. I swear, it woke me up more than coffee. It’s funny how something so simple can make you feel so good.
Next, I started moving. Nothing crazy — just 10 minutes of stretching or walking around my house. At first, I felt awkward. Like, why am I doing this…
